  Duck Pool :

The Duck Pool is a less commercial, more secluded and natural lake that was deepened and cleaned out in the Autumn of 2001.
This 20 peg water has depths ranging from 4ft to 8ft and it covers approximately 2½-3 acres.
It is stocked with tench from 1-4lbs, and carp upto 20+ lbs. along with quite a lot of crucians to about 1½ lbs.
Pole and waggler work best for the small fish, while ledgered baitspopped up off the bottom, due to a silty bottom, are best for the bigger carp.

  Drakes & Dykes Canals :

Two purpose-built canals approximately 14 metres wide with depths of 3 metres deep under the bank and rising to one metre off the far bank with a shallow shelf. With 29 pegs in total (17 on Drakes and 12 on Dykes) it is ideal for matches upon which keepnets are allowed (there is a two-net policy). With a good head of fish, predominantly carp to 8lbs, bream, orfe, roach and tench, worm, maggot, luncheon meat and sweetcorn are already becoming established as the most successful baits.

  The Doughnut :

This is a round pool with an island in the centre, creating a circular canal which is purpose-built to the same specification as Drakes and Dykes above.

  Old Match Pool :

The original pool was deepened and with extra features included in 2001.
Margins start at 2-3ft. Shelving out at 8m is a deep channel down to 9ft all around the pool.
The channel is 3m wide, and it then shelves back up to 4-5ft. This 45 peg match pool is ideal and very popular for club matches therefore early booking is essential.
It is stocked with mainly carp upto 8lbs, tench and barbel from 1-3lbs, bream to 2½lbs, chubb and skimmers.
Pole or waggler work well out to the channel, or feeder rod when casting towards the islands.
