Brickhouse Farm Fishery was opened in 1994, and is home to a well stocked trout lake and two very good coarse lakes. The two coarse lakes, one of which was established over 20 years ago are both spring fed. This venue offers peaceful fishing in a pleasant environment, with a variety of ticket and membership options available. Ideal for match fishing, and any of the lakes may be booked for corporate days or matches.
The Top Lake is 6 feet deep and 9 feet deep at the outlet. There are ten man-made platforms from which to fish.
The Middle Lake is the oldest of the three and has an average depth of 5 feet 6 inches. Again, there is a good stocking of fish, some days producing over 150 fish in two hours on pole or whip.
The Bottom Lake - (Trout Fishing) Largest of the three, has a shallow ledge at one end with reeds and lilies, which hold numerous fry, then drops away suddenly to a depth of 20 feet, rising up around a central island to a depth of 6 feet, before again dropping to 15 feet. It is stocked regularly with Rainbow Trout 2lb plus, with a trickle stocking of 4 to 9lb trout. There are some Brown Trout that go up to 5lb or more, but all browns must be returned and unhooked in the water. It is a very good Floating Line Water with plenty of surface feeding, as it is crystal clear.
