Chestnut Pool

A true mixed fishery ideal for specialist and pleasure anglers alike.

spacer

The 2½ acre pool is set in a 6 acre site and although it is in tranquil countryside it is only 5 minutes from the A1.
Facilities include disabled access, tackle shop, toilet and a car park next to the lake.
The pool has 30 pegs with most of them having marginal features and a maximum 50-meter cast to one of the two islands.
Stocked with various sizes of Carp up to 20lb, Golden Tench to 3lb, Bream to 5lb, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Crucians.
With the high stock rate the pleasure angler can go home after not only catching a lot of fish, but also lots of different species and sizes. 50lb pleasure catches are very common, with a lake record catch of over 240 lb.
