Lemington Lakes



Set in rolling Cotwold countryside, a nice maturing coarse fishery with 5 sprong fed lakes.

There are four main fishing lakes, and one specimen carp lake.
Each lake has been designed and stocked to suit different styles of fishing.
Facilities include a wide range of hot and cold meals,sandwiches and refreshments for anglers, and the 120-seater cafe is also available for functions, conferences, corporate events and even wedding receptions.


PRIORY POOL :

A ¾ acre pool built in 1994 this pool has 18 Pegs and an average depth of 6ft.
It is ideal for both individual pleasure anglers and small club competitions.
Stocked with Crucians, Bream , Roach, Rudd and Tench it is best fished with bread, maggot, luncheon meat or sweet corn on the waggler or pole, bags of over 50lb are often taken.


BISHOPS LAKE :

Built in 1987/8 with 20 Pegs and covering 2½ acres this is Lemington's specimen lake
It contains a head of 120 mirror, common and ghost carp between 10 and 30lb, ideal for the dedicated carp angler.
The depth ranges from 3.5ft to 10ft, averaging 7ft.
Night fishing is allowed, but must be booked in advance.


WESTMINSTER LAKE :

Built in 1991/2 Westminster is the largest of the pool at 4½ acres and with 48 Pegs, it was designed to suit pleasure and match anglers with the emphasis on quantity and variety , bags of 200lb have been achieved.
Stocked with Carp (Ghost, Mirror and Common) average 5lbs to a top weight of 15lbs, Chub to 4lbs, Rudd and Roach to 2lbs, Tench, Perch and Bream to 4lbs, Dace and Crucians to 1lb.
This lake in particular has excellent disabled access, ground conditions permitting, disabled badge holders are able to drive to, and park at the peg of their choice.
Match booking are available.


SUNSET LAKE :

Built in 1998 with 28 Pegs.
This water covers 1¼ acres and was designed specifically for pole and pleasure anglers.
Uniform shelving bottom running to about 5ft deep.
Stocked with Mirror and Common Carp between 2lb and 10lb. Match bookings are available.


ABBEY LAKE :

Built in 2003 and opened in June 2004 with 30 Pegs.
Covering 2 acres, it has one central island and a uniform depth of approximately 4ft.
Ideal to fish with pole or waggler this is our silver fish water stocked with good quality Crucians, Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd, and Perch.
An excellent match water for the winter.

Directions :

A429 to Moreton-in-Marsh.
Just before you enter Moreton you will see Lemington Lakes signposted.
Take the left turn into Todenham Road which is immediately before the bridge over the railway.
Lemington Lakes is one-and-three-quarter miles on the left.
From the south, drive through Moreton towards Stratford and just after you leave the village and go over the railway bridge Leamington Lakes is signposted to the right.
