A mature 2 acre lake surrounded by a fringe of rushes, it has 23 swims plus one accessible for wheelchairs. Stocked with a variety of coarse fish that include Roach to 1lb, Perch to 2lb, Rudd to 1lb, Tench to 4lb, Bream to 4lb and Carp to 5lb.Fishes well when the water begins to warm up, and is ideal for beginners, although it is not easy fishing. During the summer evenings the lake produces a lot of small tench which have bred on in the lake on their own. Good baits are red maggots fished lightly with a waggler float. Fishing around the margins is usually successful. |

Perch to 5lb, Bream to 9lb and plenty of double figure carp including one of 25lb!! Popular for night anglers, with some good bags of carp being landed. Good baits on this lake include worms and red maggots, the carp are more interested in luncheon meat, boilies and sweetcorn |
First established in 1997, It has been well stocked with Common and Mirror Carp, which have all settled
into the water well and are now increasing in size. 4 acre in size with a gravel bottom and one island and an average depth of 6-8 feet along the &car park& swims and 8-11 feet far north east bay. Stocked only with common, mirror and leather carp averaging 10-12lbs, but with many 20lb fish including the 28lb record. Bait, groundbait, hooks, line, floats etc are all available from our small tackle hut. |
